11 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Friday, 6 discharged

July 23: Hailakandi registered only 11 new COVID-19 cases on Friday. Of the 11 positive cases detected on Friday, all of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas none were detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 64 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 1,443 RAT tests and 230 RT-PCR tests were done. 06 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,738 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,250 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 07 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Thursday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. A total of 771 persons were vaccinated till 5 PM on Friday.
