11 members of BJP’s State Media cell in Assam entrusted to keep eye on news channels & web portals

May 6: The State Media Cell of Assam BJP has formed a 11-member committee, who has been entrusted the responsibility of monitoring the satellite news channels of Assam and also the web portals of Barak Valley. The 11 members were further instructed in that notice to report in their Whatsapp group any anti-party (anti-BJP) news shown in those news channels (of Assam) or published in the web portals of Barak Valley. However, surprisingly, though the notification has assigned an individual to keep an eye upon the web portals of Barak Valley, but none has been entrusted to follow up the web portals operating from other parts of the state including Guwahati.
