10 tests +ve in Cachar on Wednesday, tally reaches 11,159

Dec. 16: On Wednesday, a total of 10 new cases of COVID-19 were reported in Cachar. During the day, a total of 1271 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, 05 persons were found positive, whereas another 05 were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Wednesday night.

With this, the district tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 11,159. Further, a total of 11.003 patients were discharged in the district as of now. Cachar registered a total of 38 COVID-19 deaths till now. At present, there are 118 active cases in the district. It needs mention here that 11 persons were found positive in Cachar on Tuesday.
