10 tests Covid +ve in Hailakandi on Wednesday, 11 discharged

July 28: Hailakandi registered 10 new COVID-19 cases on Wednesday. Of the 10 positive cases detected on Wednesday, 10 of them have been found positive under Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) whereas only 01 person was detected positive in RT-PCR test. The district has altogether 71 active COVID-19 cases. During the day, 719 RAT tests and 60 RT-PCR tests were done. 11 patients were discharged during the day. With this, the district tally of Covid cases has now reached 7,777 (both 1st & 2nd wave).

As of now, a total of 4,283 patients were discharged. It needs mention here that 07 persons were found positive in Hailakandi on Tuesday. Till date 49 persons died due to Covid-19 in Hailakandi district. During the day, 1,155 persons were vaccinated in Hailakandi .
