1 in ventilator, 12 in oxygen support out of 44 active cases at SMCH on Thursday

Jan. 13: There has been a gradual rise in the number of daily positive cases in Cachar district. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 12 January to 5 PM on 13 January) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Thursday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 13 January, there were 44 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patient was put under ventilator support, and 12 in oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, 06 Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 03 were discharged. Further, 04 patients were shifted to Covid Care Centre.
