অস্ত্র সহ ডিমা হাসাওয়ে গ্রেফতার ১১ জঙ্গি
11 militants arrested along with arms at Dima Hasao

১৩ সেপ্টেম্বরঃ ডিমাসা ন্যাশনাল সিকিউরিটি ফোর্স নামের জঙ্গি সংগঠনের ১১ সদস্যকে অস্ত্রশস্ত্র সহ গ্রেফতার করল ডিমা হাসাও পুলিশ। মাইবাং মহকুমার অন্তর্গত নাবালাইডিসা খেপ্রে এলাকা থেকে ওই ১১ জন জঙ্গিকে ধরা হয়। ধৃতরা হল —দিলন কেম্প্রাই,সলজিৎ থাওসেন,বিশ্বনাথ লাংথাসা,বিসন বাটারি,সুশেন পর্বসা, অরজিৎ লাংথাসা,দীপন নাথ জহরি,সবজিৎ কেম্প্রাই, কাঞ্চন নাইডিং প্রমুখ।

বৃহষ্পতিবার বিকেলে সাংবাদিক সন্মেলন ডেকে এই সফল অভিযানের বিবরন দেন পুলিশসুপার প্রশান্ত শইকীয়া। তিনি বলেন, ২১ আগষ্ট অগপ নেতা ফিরোজ লাংথাসার বাড়ি থেকে একে ৪৭ নিয়ে হানা দেয় ৫ জঙ্গি। পরে বেশ কিছু বাড়ি থেকে অভিযোগ মেলে, তাঁদের লাইসেন্সপ্রাপ্ত বন্দুক এরা নিয়ে গিয়েছে। গোটা বিষয়টিকে এক জায়গায় এনে তদন্তের নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয়। মহকুমা পুলিশ অফিসার ময়াঙ্ক কুমার দায়িত্ব পেয়েই উঠেপড়ে লাগেন। সাফল্য মেলে।  ধৃতদের কাছ থেকে ৩ টি এসবিবিএল বন্দুক, ১ টি হাতে তৈরি বন্দুক ৬ রাউন্ড ১২ বোর বন্দুকের কার্তুজ ও একজোড়া সেনা পোষাক উদ্ধার করে।

September 13: Dima Hasao Police has achieved a great success. They have arrested 11 militants who are all members of the terrorist outfit ‘Dima National Security Force.’ They were arrested from Nabalaidisa Khepre area of Maibong. Those arrested are Dilon Khaprai, Saljit Thaosen, Biswanath Langthasa, Bishon Batari, Sushen Parbosa, Orjit langthasa, Dipon Nath Johri, Sabjit Kemprai, Kanchan Naiding and others.

This was revelaed in a press meet convened by the Police Super Prashanta Saikia on Thursday. He informed that on 21 August, 5 militants entered the house of AGP leader Firoz Langthasa and took away an AK 47 rifle. Later on complaints were received from many houses that the group of militants has stolen their licensed riffles from their houses. An investigation was at once ordered by the Police Super. The investigating office Mayank Kumar at once devoted himself to nab the militants. He got success very soon and 11 militants were caught by the police. Arms were also recovered from their custody which included 3 SBBL guns, 1 hand made pistol, 6 rounds of cartridge and a pair of army uniform.
