MoU signed for upgradation of stadium in Hailakandi

June 20: Sporting activities will get a big boost following the signing of a memorandum of understanding between the Hailakandi district administration and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (PGCIL) here on Friday.
A little over Rs 2.40 crore has been earmarked for the upgradation and improvement of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose stadium of the District Sports Association.

A memorandum of understanding was signed by Deputy Commissioner, Megh Nidhi Dahal on behalf of the district administration and Senior Manager KK Medhi on behalf of PGCIL at the former’s official chamber here.
Additional Deputy Commissioner, EL Faihraem and Manager, PGCIL, Arindam Das were also present on the occasion.
