Assam State Election Commission issues dates for BTC polls

Nov. 17: Assam State Election Commissioner Alok Kumar on Tuesday announced the dates for Bodoland Territorial Council (BTC) general elections. The polls will be held in two phases from December 7, 2020. The 2nd phase of polls will be on 10 December. The counting of votes will be on 12 December. BTC constituencies falling under Udalguri and Baksa districts will go to polls on December 7, whereas voters of two constituencies under Chirang and Kokrahajar districts will go for the polls on 10 December.
