Blood smeared dead body of 19-year-old female student found in a field

March 10: In a sensational incident, a dead body of a 19 years old girl was found lying in a pool of blood. The incident occurred at Rupaibali area of Shibpur in Cachar district. As per reports, the deceased college student Jasmin Begum Laskar was found to me missing from Wednesday night. Her father Fazir Uddin came at home around 8 PM on Wednesday and found that his daughter was not there in the house. They searched all probable places she could be but failed to trace her.

The next morning, the family members started again their search for 19-year-old Jasmin Begum Laskar. To their utter surprise, they suddenly noticed that the girl was lying in a field beside a pond. On close observation, they found that Jasmin was dead and had cut marks on her neck and other parts of the body. The blood- smeared dead body evoked panic among the people.

Immediately, police was informed about the suspected murder. Police soon reached the spot and took the dead body in their custody. The body was sent for autopsy at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). As per reports, police have started investigation into the incident and are trying to gather information from the local people and family members of the deceased.
