8 stolen 2-wheelers recovered by Hailakandi Police, 2 arrested

Jan. 16: Very off and on two-wheelers are stolen. This has become a regular phenomenon in Barak Valley. Most of the time, police fails to recover the stolen two-wheelers. However, on Friday, the Officer in-charge of Lala Police Station in Hailakandi district along with his staff apprehended two persons who are connected with bike lifting since a long period of time. The police have also recovered a total of 8 stolen bikes and scooties from them. In a social media post, Hailakandi Police appealed to the owners of the stolen bikes/ scooties to contact the Lala Police Station for identification of the recovered 2-wheelers.
