411 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Sunday, 10 deaths registered

Aug 15: On Sunday, out of 49,693 tests, 411 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,79,899. The positivity rate in the state is 0.83 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 90 positive cases during the day. Further, on Sunday, 10 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,492. The recovery rate is 97.45 percent.

It needs mention here that on Sunday, 755 persons tested positive in Assam and 11 deaths were registered.
