Covid vaccines to be administered at 12 centres in Silchar on 11 Oct

Oct. 10:  Dr Reema Patao, Medical Officer of Urban Family Welfare Unit, Silchar on Sunday stated that on-spot vaccination session will take place at 11 centres in Silchar on Monday where Covishield will be administered, whereas Covaxin will be provided at 01 centre. A total of 2,200 doses of Covishield and 200 doses of Covaxin will be administered on 11 October in Silchar town.

Covishield will be provided at 11 centres in Silchar town. In all these 11 centres, both 1st dose (100 shots) and 2nd dose (100 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration. That means, a total of 200 doses of Covishield will be administered at each of these 11 centres on 11 October. These 11 centres where Covishield will be provided are:

• SM Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar
• Urban PHC, Trunk Road
• Durga Sankar Patshala, Ambicapatty
• Gol Dighi Mall, Premtola
• Lalita Das LP School
• Mobile Team A- Ward No 5- Rongpur Angurjur
• Mobile Team B- Ward No 5- Rongpur Shantipara
• Mobile Team C- Ward No 9
• Mobile Team D- Ward No 7 & 8
• Mobile Team E- Ward No. 23
• Mobile Team F- On call request

The vaccination centre where Covaxin will be provided is:

• Urban PHC, Trunk Road: Only 2nd dose (200 shots) will be given on the basis of on-spot registration on 11 October.
