Ahead of Independence Day, hand-made bomb recovered from Hailakandi

August 5: When the nation was busy celebrating the abrogation of Article 370, a sensational incident was reported from Hailakandi district. In an interior village at Jamira in Hailakandi, a hand-made bomb was recovered on Monday. Immediately on spotting the bomb, the local people informed the police. At once, police reached the spot and recovered the bomb from near the residence of one Jamaluddin in Jamira village. Recovering a hand-made bomb ahead of the Independence Day has given anxiety to the police.
