Assam registers 10 more COVID-19 deaths on Monday, tally rises to 306

August 31: Another ten new cases of deaths due to COVID-19 were registered in Assam. With this, the death toll of the state has now reached 306. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on Monday. The deceased were identified as:

• Gepeswar Senapati (63), Bidhan Pal (57), Dilip Kumar Bhattacharjee (77), Gopilal Saha (69) & Debesh Mukharjee (50) from Dibrugarh
• Shuramoni joyshree (59) from Tinsukia
• Khagen Chandra Kalita (80), Fuljan Begum (50) & Tuntuni Debnath (60) from Kamrup Metro
• Rohim Khan (55) from Sivasagar.
