1 found Covid +ve in Cachar on Thursday, 3 active cases in the district

way2barak, Sept.8: The District Health Department updated the Covid-19 data of Thursday. As per the latest data, only 01 person (0 RT-PCR & 01 RAT) was found positive in the district on 8 Sept, 2022. At present, 03 positive patients in the district have opted for home isolation while none have taken admission in hospitals. Further, 01 person was discharged during the day.

As per the updated data, a total of 129 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 01 person was found positive, whereas no one was detected positive out of 05 RT-PCR Tests. With this, the total number of active Covid cases stands at 03.

During this phase (1 July, 2022 onwards) till now 936 positive cases were detected and 932 were discharged in the district of Cachar. During this phase, a total of 01 death was registered. The deceased, a resident of Silchar died at GNRC, Guwahati.
