Musical Tribute to Hemanta Mukherjee by Bikramjit Baulia

June 5: It’s the birth centenary of legendary singer and music composer of the sub-continent Hemanta Mukhopadhyay, popularly known as Hemant Kumar. Remembering the legend with his golden voice, Hemanta Mukherjee on his birth centenary, renowned folk artist of the region, Bikramjit Baulia has come up with a musical tribute to the great master.

On the occasion of the birthday of Hemanta Mukherjee on 16 June, Bikramjit’s song ‘O Nodi Re’ originally sung by Mukherjee will be released. The song will be available in the official page of Bikramjit Baulia. This musical composition has been arranged by Nirupam Barbhuiya and Ranabir Sinha. The video credit goes to Abhishek Roy. The video has been edited by Arindam Goala of Mix and Match Production.

Apart from this, Bikramjit Baulia will also come up with another such melodious number of the yesteryear ‘Ore Neel Doriya.” This song will be released in Youtube on 21 June on the occasion of World Music Day. This song was originally sung by Abdul Jabbar. Bikramjit’s remake of this song has been arranged by Kanai Lal Das and the video editing done by Mix and Match Production.
