Administration issues show cause notice to govt employee for alleged political involvement in Sonai

way2barak, March 31:— In view of a complaint against a government employee namely Sri Rajib Ahmed Mazumder, a Science Teacher posted at Nutan Hailakandi High School in Kaptanpur under Cachar district regarding involvement in political activities with Sri Aminul Haque Laskar. a candidate contesting from the 119-Sonai Legislative Assembly Constituency on behalf of the Indian National Congress. The matter has been viewed with utmost seriousness, considering the strict code of conduct applicable to government servants, particularly during elections.

Accordingly Show Cause Notice has been served upon the said Govt employee to submit his reply within 3(three) days, failing which as per the prescribed service conduct rules will attract strict action. Simultaneously, an inquiry has also been initiated to examine the facts and circumstances surrounding the incident.

The show cause notice is issued by Shri David Kumar Bora ACS, Returning Officer Returning Officer, 119sSonai/LAC Addl. District Magistrate, Cachar.
