Corpse recovered from 400 ft depth at Lumshnong where a truck fell 3 days ago

June 19: With nature unleashing its fury by inflicting huge damage to roads and causing human fatalities. On 16 June, 2022, a truck fell near Lumshnong in Meghalaya in the gorge after severe landslide. On 18 July, that is, two days later, the SRT & F&ES recovered a corpse from 400 feet depth.

Initial reports suggests that the deceased is likely to be Bishujit Chakraborty (36), who was the handyman of that ill-fated truck which fell after the road was dilapidated due to the landslide.
