Assam govt issues order of 2-day CL for employees to spend time with parents/in-laws

Dec. 8: In the interest of public services, the Governor of Assam has issued a notification on 7 December to allow State Government employees to avail Casual Leave on 6 and 7 January, 2022 suffixing the two holidays, the 8th and 9th January, 2022, being second Saturday and Sunday, so as to enable them to spend the aforesaid days with their living parents and parents in laws. The Minister’s may also take advantage of the break to be with their parents/ in-laws during the said period. The order was issued by M.S. Manivannan, Commissioner & Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, General Administration Department.
