Sukesh Rn Biswas, retd Head, Deptt of English of Karimganj College passes away

Aug 13: Sukesh Ranjan Biswas, retired Head of the Department of English of Karimganj College breathed his last at 9 AM on Friday. Prof Biswaswas very popular among the students and also his colleagues. A teacher of immense reputation, Sukesh Ranjan Biswas was also associated with the literary movement of Barak Valley. He had also contributed a lot for the development activities of Assam College Teachers’ Association (ACTA).

Expressing grief at his demise, President of ACTA, Biswajit Bhuyan said, “Assam College Teachers’ Association mourns the demise of Sri Sukesh Ranjan Biswas sir, Rtd. HOD, English Department, Karimganj College. He was intimately associated with ACTA and had served ACTA in various capacities including the post of Vice President of the Central Executive Committee of ACTA. May the departed soul rest in peace. We convey our sincere condolences to the bereaved family.”
