Fake currency worth Rs. 2,49,500 seized in Karimganj, 2 arrested

January 31: On the basis of secret information, Karimganj police launched an operation at Sharisa area on Thursday. The police team were successful in intercepting a Bolero vehicle bearing registration number ML-04B-5065.

Fake currency worth Rs. 2,49,500 was seized from the possession of two persons seated in the vehicle. Both of them were arrested and taken for interrogation.The two persons arrested were identified as Selimuddin and Zakir Hussain. As per reports, both of them are being interrogated to find out details about their modus operandi.
