With 9 more Covid +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 13 on 10 Sept

Active cases 114 in Cachar; 11 discharged on Friday

Sept 10: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Friday at 11 PM. As per the latest data, 09 more persons were detected as Coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 13 persons were found positive in the district on 10 September. Earlier, at 6 PM, it was informed that 04 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has reached 114. This was informed by District Media Expert on Friday night. Also, 11 patients were discharged during the day. It needs mention here that on Thursday, 12 persons were detected as Covid-19 positive in Cachar.

As per the updated data, a total of 3,104 Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) were done, out of which, 04 persons were found positive, whereas 09 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. With this, the total number of Covid cases since 1 April, 2021 reached 19,888 whereas during this phase, 19,576 patients were discharged.

Apart from this, the district authority informed that out of the 114 active patients:

26 of them are admitted at SMCH
06 at MH
01 at SM Dev Civil Hospital
06 at Green Heals Pvt Hospital
01 at Cachar Cancer Hospital
10 at Chotodudpatil Model Hospital
64 patients are in home isolation.

The Covid-19 situation in gradually is gradually improving. There has been substantial decline in the number of daily positive cases. The last 24 hours (5 PM on 9 September to 5 PM on 10 September) did not witness the death of any Covid-19 positive patient at Silchar Medical College & Hospital (SMCH). This was informed by Dr. Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH on Friday evening.

Dr Bhaskar Gupta, Vice Principal of SMCH informed that till 5 PM on 10 September, there were 18 Covid-19 active patients at Silchar Medical College. Further, 01 patients were put under ventilator support and 1 oxygen support. In the last 24 hours, No Covid positive patients were admitted at SMCH and 08 of them were discharged.
