With 29 more Covid-19 +ve cases, day’s total in Cachar rises to 90 on Monday

April 26: The District Health Department of Cachar updated the Covid-19 data of Monday at 10.45 PM. As per the latest data, 29 more persons were detected as coronavirus positive during the day. With this, a total of 90 persons were found positive in the district on 26 April. Earlier, at 6 PM, it was informed that 61 persons were found positive. With this, the number of active cases in Cachar has now gone up to 582.

As per the updated data, a total of 1,364 Rapid Antigen Tests (RAT) were done, out of which, a total of 54 persons were found positive, whereas 36 more were detected positive in RT-PCR Test. This was informed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Ahmed, District Surveillance Officer (DSO), IDSP, Cachar on Monday night. It needs mention here that on Sunday too, the total positive cases detected here was 108. With this, the district tally of coronavirus cases has gone upto 12,311. Again, 11,691 patients till now were cured and discharged.
