Tricycle rickshaw at subsidised rates distributed for marketing of agricultural produce in Hailakandi

November 3: Keerthi Jalli, Deputy Commissioner of Hailakandi district distributed ‘Deep Bahan’, tricycle rickshaw for marketing of agricultural produce under Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana organised by Agriculture Department led by District Agriculture Officer, Sudipta Debray and his team.

The beneficiaries had to pay only around Rs. 1900 with additional Government subsidy amounting to a round figure of Rs 18000/- These rickshaws will be used to empower livelihood of farmers as they can do direct business in their village or colony and also consumer level selling of fruits, vegetables, fish etc.
