TET Teacher arrested on charges of molesting minor student

April 28: On the basis of a FIR lodged by the parents of a minor girl student, a TET Teacher named Jahirul Ali was arrested by the police. In the FIR, it was alleged that Jahirul Ali allegedly attempted molesting a 13 year old Girl in West Jalinga Khasia Punji’s school campus.

The girl went home and narrated the incident to her parents. The parents then filed a FIR stating inappropriate gesture of the teacher towards their girl. It was after that the Dwarbond Police arrested Jahirul Ali from his residence at Chotojalenga.

As per police sources, Jahirul is presently in police custody and will be produced in the court on Monday. Further investigation by the police in regard to the case is going on.
