Teams formed for door-to-door fever surveillance in Cachar from 2 September

September 1: A team was constituted comprising of Teachers, ASHA, Anganwadi Workers & Anganwadi Helpers in connection with surveillance of fever for COVID-19. In this regard, the District Social Welfare Officer, the Joint Director of Health Services, the District Elementary Education Officer and the Inspector of Schools, Cachar has been directed by the Deputy Commissioner to instruct the concerned persons under their respective control to conduct House to House visit for surveillance of fever cases for COVID-19 and mobilize the community for Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) from 2 September, 2020.

A detailed plan in this connection was chalked out by DHS, Cachar for ready reference. The teams entrusted with door-to-door fever surveillance shall have to perform the following duties:

• Door to Door visit
• House marking
• Line listing of Household
• Mobilize the community for RAT Test at the nearest COVID-19 Testing centres from 9.30 AM to 3.00 PM.
