Sanjita Singh to feature live at Vengo Land on 26 September

Sept. 12: The outbreak of coronavirus pandemic followed by nationwide lockdown had captivated people inside their house. It was at that juncture that a musical group Vengo Land was formed by eminent singer Venu Gopal. This is a virtual group in Facebook and its members are ever increasing. Every weekend, one can see musical performances by both amateur artists and those well established in the industry.

Informing about this, admin Venugopal and Paramita Paul of Vengo Land Facebook Page said, “This weekend stay tuned to Vengo Land to watch Sanjita Singh Gazmer at 7 PM.”

Sanjita Singh Gazmer hails from Darjeeling, West Bengal and currently lives in Nepal. She is a professional singer with around 200 recorded songs to her credit. She has performed on stage in different countries like Russia, Singapore, Dubai, Hong Kong. Her first stage show was in 1991 in Darjeeling. She then shifted to Nepal in 1995 and started her singing career with live performances. Now she is an accomplished recording artist.

Sanjita Singh does not have a formal music training. She has learnt music by herself, just by listening and singing songs. She is big fan of Lata Mangeshkar and considers her the teacher and mentor. In 2010 she won “Image Award’ from Nepal.
