Sushmita Dev & Gaurav Gogoi gets Congress ticket for Lok Sabha Polls 2019

March 7: The screening committee of Assam Congress headed by Congress in-charge for Assam Harish Rawat has finalised tickets for Sushmita Dev from Silchar constituency and Gaurav Gogoi from Kaliabor Lok Sabha constituency for the ensuing Lok Sabha Election, 2019.

The screening committee meeting held on Friday selected two aspiring candidates from each of the rest constituencies except Kaliabor and Silchar. The final list of the candidates for the forthcoming Lok Sabha election to be held this year would be released on 12 March, 2019.
