Summer Special Trains to accommodate extra passenger rush

way2barak, 8 April : At Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR), to accommodate the extra footfall of passengers during thisupcoming summer of 2025,it has been decided to operate additional (04)four pairs of summer special trains. The trains will run between SMVT Bengaluru-Narangi stations from 8thApril till 3rd May,Dibrugarh- Kolkata stations from 12th April till 30th June, SSS Hubballi-Katihar stations from 9th April till 3rd May and Silchar-Kolkata stations from 10th April till 27th June, 2025.

Special train no. 06559 (SMVT Bengaluru – Narangi) Summer special, will depart from SMVT Bengaluru at 23:40 hours from 8th April, 2025 (Tuesday)to reach Narangi at 05:00 hours on Friday. Similarly, train no.06560 (Narangi – SMVT Bengaluru) Summer Special will depart from Narangi at05:30 hours from 12thApril, 2025 (Saturday)to reach SMVT Bengaluruat 09:45 hours onMonday. Both the trains will run for 04 trips.

Special train no. 05932(Dibrugarh – Kolkata) Summer Special will depart from Dibrugarh at 17:20 hours on 12th April, 2025 (Saturday) to reach Kolkata at 00:30 hours on Monday. Similarly, train no. 05931 (Kolkata – Dibrugarh) Summer Special will depart from Kolkata at 02:30 hours on14thApril, 2025 (Monday) to reach Dibrugarh at 06:30 hours on Tuesday. Both the trains will run for 12 trips.

Special train no. 07325 (SSSHubballi-Katihar) Summer Special will depart from Hubballi at 15:15 hours on 9th April, 2025 (Wednesday) to reach Katihar at 13:00 hours on Friday. Similarly, train no. 07326 (Katihar–SSSHubballi) Summer Special will depart from Katihar at 14:30 hours on 12thApril, 2025 (Saturday) to reach Hubballi at 10:50 hours on Monday. Both the trains will run for 04 trips.

Special train no.05639(Silchar-Kolkata) Summer Special will depart from Silchar at 05:00hours on 10th April, 2025 (Thursday) to reach Kolkata at 12:05 hours on Friday. Similarly, train no. 05640 (Kolkata – Silchar) Summer Special will depart from Kolkata at 13:15hours on 11th April, 2025 (Friday) to reach Silchar at 23:50 hours on Saturday. Both the trains will run for 12 trips.
