Students of Tea Gardens will now be given scooty on securing even 2nd division: Himanta in Udharbond

March 27: From now onwards, boys too will also be provided with two-wheelers (bullets) on securing first division in Higher Secondary Final Examination. This was announced by Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma, BJP heavyweight during an electoral rally at Udharbond in Cachar. During his speech, Himanta Biswa Sarma further said, “From the forthcoming academic year, girl students of Tea Garden areas will be provided scooty on securing even 2nd division. This facility will only be available to the students of tea garden areas.”

He also announced that from now onwards, all students will be given Rs.100 per day for attending their school/ college. He said that with this money they can fill petrol in their scooty and bullets. He also promised that from now, scooty will also be given to the students who perform well in graduation and post graduation. He also assured that 1 lakh jobs will be given in the coming year.

Taking a dig at the Congress-AIUDF alliance, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “If you look, you can notice the picture of Narendra Modi on the back side of the picture of your BJP candidate Mihir Kanti Shome. However, the picture of AIUDF supremo Badar Uddin Ajmal can be found on the reverse of the picture of Congress candidate Ajit Singh.”

Criticising the 5 assured guarantees announced by the Congress, Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “Congress has now announced its 5 guarantees for the people when they were rejected by the people of Assam. Good companies like Godrej never gives guarantee. Companies like TATA never gives guarantee. Only those which are fraud gives guarantee. Now, Sushmita Dev and Ajit Singh are busy giving guarantee, but where were they during the COVID phase. None a single Congress leader in Assam has given plasma in Assam. So don’t fall in the trap of fake guarantee announced by the friends of Badar Uddin Ajmal.”

“The outpouring of love and support for BJP is incredible. I know all of you will vote for BJP and make Mihir Kanti Shome victorious”, added the BJP leader. Himanta Biswa also took a dig at aggrieved former BJP MLA Dilip Kumar Paul and said that may be his pressure has increased and so he is now speaking against the party to which he belonged. He urged upon the public to ignore all such persons and stand besides the BJP.
