Indian Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar discharged from hospital

November 11: Legendary singer Lata Mangeshkar complained of difficulty in breathing in the early hours of Monday, November 11, 2019, following which she was rushed to Breach Candy Hospital, in South Mumbai. However, she was brought back home after being treated for chest infection. She is stable and recovering.

According to hospital staff, the singer, who turned 90 on September 28, was admitted to Breach Candy Hospital due to chest infection. She had viral chest congestion and keeping her age in mind as a precautionary measure. she has checked in to Breach Candy Hospital in order to ensure antibiotics on time to prevent any more infection. She is stable and recovering.

Lata Mangeshkar, a recipient of the Bharat Ratna, Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan and Dadasaheb Phalke Awards, is an icon of Indian cinema, having sung playback for an extensive list of Hindi and regional language films.
