Sinking zone portion at Tarapur Shib Bari Road closed for heavy vehicular traffic

May 18:Due to overflowing of River Barak, the Silchar- Kalain Road from ch 460.000 M to ch. 615.00 M (length 155 M) of sinking zone portion at Tarapur Shib Bari Road, Silchar is closed for heavy vehicular traffic until further order as the water level is alarmingly rising at this stretch. This was stated in a notification issued by RB Chakraborty, Executive Engineer, PWD (Silchar & Udharbond) on 18 May, 2022.
