Second blast within 12 hours take place in Manipur

May 6: In the wee hours on Friday, a powerful bomb blast rocked the capital city of Imphal in Manipur. The blast took place at  Khurai in Imphal East. Earlier, a powerful blast was reported at Nagamapal in Imphal early on Thursday morning. That means, the capital of Manipur witnessed two blasts within a time frame of 12 hours. However, no injuries were reported.

As per reports, the explosion on Friday took place around 3 am in front of one spare parts shop at Nagamapal Lamaban Leikai under Imphal police station in Manipur. Three cars parked nearby were damaged in the blast. Police team along with forensic experts reached the spot and began investigation.
