গুয়াহাটিতে হচ্ছে দীর্ঘতম ফ্লাইওভার, হল শিলান্যাসSarbananda Sonowal lays foundation stone of 1400 M long T-Shaped flyover in Guwahati
৮ ডিসেম্বর : মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সর্বানন্দ সনোয়াল রবিবার গুয়াহাটি-শিলং রোডে ১৪০০ মিটার দীর্ঘ টি আকারের ফ্লাইওভারের ভিত্তিপ্রস্তর স্থাপন করেছেন। এই নতুন ফ্লাইওভারটি দিসপুর থেকে খানাপাড়া এবং সুপার মার্কেট থেকে লাস্ট গেট পর্যন্ত সংযোগ করবে। ১২৭ কোটি ২০ লক্ষ টাকা ব্যয়ে নির্মীয়মান এই ফ্লাইওভারটির কাজ শেষ করার সময় নির্ধারণ করা হয়েছে ৩৬ মাস।

শহরের দীর্ঘতম এই ফ্লাইওভার টি শুরু হবে দিসপুর জনতা ভবনের সামনে থেকে এবং এটি শেষ হবে ডাউন টাউন পুলিশ পয়েন্টে। আবার অন্যদিকে দিসপুর সুপার মার্কেট জংশন থেকে শুরু হয়ে এটি যাবে লাস্টগেট পর্যন্ত।
দিসপুর লাস্টগেটে এ উপলক্ষে আয়োজিত অনুষ্ঠানে বক্তব্য রাখতে গিয়ে মুখ্যমন্ত্রী সর্বানন্দ সনোয়াল বলেছেন, গুয়াহাটিকে দেশের সেরা শহর হিসেবে গড়ে তুলতে রাজ্য সরকার পদক্ষেপ গ্রহণ করছে।
December 8: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal on Sunday laid the foundation stone of a 1400-meter long T shaped double-lane flyover on GS Road in Guwahati. The longest flyover in Guwahati will start in front of the Janata Bhawan at Dispur and end at the Down Town police point.
The total project cost of the flyover is Rs 127.20 crore and it is scheduled to be completed within 36 months. Speaking during the occasion at Dispur Last Gate, Sonowal highlighted the State Government’s initiatives to make Guwahati one of the best cities in the country.

The 1400 m long T shaped double-lane flyover connecting Dispur Supermaket to Khanapara and Last Gate (Golchakkar) once completed will be the longest flyover of the city. Assam PWD minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Guwahati Development minister Siddhartha Bhattacharya, MLA Atul Bora commissioner and secretary of PWD Rajesh Kemprai and several other dignitaries attended the programme.
