Sanskrit wall magazine ‘Prajna’ released in Cachar College

way2barak, 24 Feb- Department of Sanskrit of Cachar College released the maiden issue of its wall magazine ‘Prajna’ in presence of students, teachers and invited scholars on Saturday.

Articles on varied subjects penned by students, art designs and illustrations drew instant readership. Udit Sinha of fourth Semester and Nibedita Acharjee of second Semester of the Department of Sanskrit edited the issue.

Eminent Sanskrit Scholar Sukhamoy Bhattacharjee, formerly Head of the Department of Sanskrit and Principal of Cachar College was present as the chief guest on the occasion. In her welcome speech, Nayana Goswami, Head of the Department of Sanskrit, welcomed the gathering and explained the theme of the Issue.
