S.M. Dev Civil Hospital Silchar declared as “Corona Hospital”
শিলচর সিভিল হাসপাতালকে “করোনা হাসপাতাল” হিসেবে ঘোষণা

২৪ মার্চ:  শিলচর সিভিল হাসপাতালকে করোনা হাসপাতাল হিসেবে ঘোষণা করেছে কাছাড় জেলা প্রশাসন। এই হাসপাতালে করোনা রোগীদের জন্য ৬০টি শয্যার ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। মঙ্গলবার শিলচর সিভিল হাসপাতালে এক সাংবাদিক বৈঠক করে এ কথা জানিয়েছেন কাছাড় জেলার স্বাস্থ্য কর্তারা।

তাঁরা জানিয়েছেন, সিভিল হাসপাতালের রোগীদের মেডিক্যাল কলেজে স্থানান্তর করা হবে। তবে এই হাসপাতালে শুধু একটি বর্হিবিভাগ থাকবে। জেলায় সম্ভাব্য করোনা ভাইরাস মোকাবিলায় প্রতিরোধ মূলক ব্যবস্থা হিসেবেই এই সিদ্ধান্ত গ্রহণ করা হয়েছে।

March 24: Cachar District Administration has declared S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar as “Corona Hospital” of the district. A total of 60 beds were made ready for corona patients, if any. Barnali Sarma, Deputy Commissioner, Cachar in a high level review meeting with all officials and health department of the district took this decision on Tuesday. Though there are no COVID-19 cases in the district at present, but this was done as a precautionary measure.

This was informed in a press meet organised at S.M. Dev Civil Hospital, Silchar by the District Health authorities on Tuesday evening. It was further informed that the patients of Silchar Civil Hospital will be shifted to Silchar Medical college and Hospital (SMCH). Only one OPD will function at the civil hospital.
