S.K. Roy T20 Cricket Tournament to start from Tuesday

March 10: The S.K. Roy Memorial S.K. Roy T20 Cricket Tournament is going to start from Tuesday in the Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Stadium, Hailakandi. This tournament, the maiden venture of ‘Club Never Give Up’ has given rise to great enthusiasm among the cricket lovers of the district. The most notable feature of this tournament is that former IPL players will be participating in it.

The champion team will get a cash award of Rs. 1 lakh, whereas the runners up will be given an amount of Rs. 50,000. Apart from this, there will be many more attractive awards like man of the match in every match etc. It will indeed be an exciting battle between the bat and the ball where renowned DJ will be playing music in the background.

Meanwhile, 13 teas have already confirmed their participation. Apart from Barak Valley, teams from Tinsukia, Dharmanagar, Delhi and Bihar has also enlisted their names. This was informed by Abdul Rajjak, President and Samar choudhury, Secretary on behalf of the organisers.
