Cachar District Administration pays heartfelt tribute to late ADC Yubraj Borthakur

way2barak May 26 : -A solemn and heartfelt condolence meeting was held by the Cachar District Administration on Monday at the new conference hall of the District Commissioner’s Office to mourn the untimely demise of Additional District Commissioner (ADC) Yubraj Borthakur. The meeting was chaired by District Development Commissioner (DDC) Norsing Bey in the presence of ADC Van Lal Limpuia Nampui, Dr. Khaleda Sultana Ahmed, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Hazarika, Assistant Commissioners , Executive Magistrates and members of the amalgamated establishment of the DC’s office.
In an emotionally resonant speech, DDC Norsing Bey reflected on the immense loss felt by the administrative fraternity and the vacuum left by the sudden departure of a dedicated and dynamic officer like Late Yubraj Borthakur. Paying rich tributes to the departed soul,DDC Bey emphasized the critical importance of maintaining health and well-being among civil servants, especially given the relentless 24×7 nature of administrative work. He urged all officers and employees not to neglect their health and to engage in regular physical activity to monitor and manage conditions such as hypertension and other stress-induced medical concerns. His message resonated deeply among those present, underlining a collective commitment to workplace wellness.
The gathering also heard heartfelt addresses from ADC Van Lal Limpuia Nampui, Dr. Dhrubajyoti Hazarika, Antara Sen, and Assistant Commissioner Anjali Kumari, each recalling the professional excellence, humility, and tireless service of Late Borthakur during his tenure in Cachar. They unanimously echoed DDC Bey’s advice on health prioritization and remembered ADC Borthakur as an officer whose dedication and work ethic were exemplary and inspiring.
Staff members from the DC’s establishment, including Senior Assistant Swarup Chakraborty, Nazir Prabir Kurmi, and other colleagues, spoke movingly about their personal experiences working with ADC Borthakur. Their tributes painted the picture of a leader who led by example—firm yet compassionate, efficient yet approachable, and above all, deeply committed to public service.
The meeting concluded with the observance of a one-minute silence in memory of the departed officer, followed by the reading of a formal condolence message by DDC Norsing Bey.
