Representatives of Niramaya met with Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH

ওয়ে টু বরাক, ১৮ আগস্ট : আয়ুষ মন্ত্রকের সচিব বৈদ্য রাজেশ কোটেচা’র সঙ্গে সাক্ষাৎ করলেন শিলচর ‘নিরাময়’ স্কুল অব যোগ এডুকেশন-এর দুই প্রতিনিধি রাহুল চক্রবর্তী ও শতাক্ষী ভট্টাচার্য। মন্ত্রকের যোগ বোর্ডের স্বীকৃতিপ্রাপ্ত ইনস্টিটিউশন হিসেবে আসাম সহ উত্তরপূর্বে যোগ শিক্ষা প্রমোশনে নিরাময়ের নিয়ত পথচলার কথা তুলে ধরেন প্রতিনিধিরা।

অসমের হাতের তৈরি ঐতিহ্যবাহী মুগার উত্তরীয় পরিয়ে সচিব বৈদ্য কোটেচা’কে সম্মান জানানো হয় নিরাময়ের তরফে। তাঁর হাতে তুলে দেওয়া হয় ইনস্টিটিউশনের ক্ষুদ্র পুস্তিকা “গ্লিম্পসেস অব নিরাময়”। তাছাড়া মোরারাজি দেশাই ন্যাশনাল ইনস্টিটিউট অব যোগ-এর ডিরেক্টর ডাঃ কাশীনাথ ও প্রশাসনিক আধিকারিক মোদিত শর্মা, যোগ বোর্ডের প্রিন্সিপাল কনসাল্টেন্ট এন কে কানসারা, অল ইন্ডিয়া ইনস্টিটিউট অব আয়ুর্বেদ-এর ডিরেক্টর সহ ইস্ট জোনের দুই লিয়াসন অফিসার সাহিল কক্কর ও লক্ষী যাদব’কে অসমের ঐতিহ্যবাহী গামোছা পরিয়ে সম্মাননা দেওয়া হয়। যোগ শিক্ষা প্রমোশনে নিরাময়ের কর্মকাণ্ড ও পরিকল্পনাকে সাধুবাদ জানান প্রত্যেকেই।

প্রসঙ্গত, এবারের স্বাধীনতা দিবসের দিল্লির লালকেল্লার মূল অনুষ্ঠানে যোগ ক্ষেত্র থেকে বিশেষ অতিথি হিসেবে আমন্ত্রিত ছিলেন সমগ্র দেশের ৯৭ জন। তার মধ্যে অসম তথা উত্তর-পূর্ব থেকে মাত্র দু’জনই আমন্ত্রণ পান। তাঁদের মধ্যে একজন নিরাময়ের লিগ্যাসি পার্সন তথা মুখ্য সংযোজক রাহুল চক্রবর্তী। তিনি পরমানন্দ ইনস্টিটিউট অব যোগ সায়েন্সেস অ্যান্ড রিসার্চ-এর রিজিওনাল ডিরেক্টর (উত্তর-পূর্ব) পদেও রয়েছেন। অন্যজন নিরাময়ের ডিরেক্টর শতাক্ষী ভট্টাচার্য। তিনি ইন্ডিয়ান যোগ অ্যাসোসিয়েশনের জোনাল হেড (উত্তর-পূর্ব) পদের দায়িত্বও পালন করছেন।

স্বাধীনতা দিবসের অনুষ্ঠানের বাইরেও বিভিন্ন কর্মসূচিতে অংশ নেন তাঁরা। এর অঙ্গ হিসেবে ছিল আয়ুষ মন্ত্রকের পদস্থ আধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে বিশেষ নৈশ ভোজ, যোগ সার্টিফিকেশন বোর্ডের আধিকারিকদের সঙ্গে সভা, যোগ ও আয়ুর্বেদ সম্পর্কিত বিভিন্ন আলোচনা, বিভিন্ন ঐতিহাসিক স্থান পরিদর্শন ইত্যাদি।

Way2barak, August 18 : Representatives from Silchar’s ‘Niramaya’ School of Yoga Education, Rahul Chakraborty and Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, met with Vaidya Rajesh Kotecha, Secretary of the Ministry of AYUSH. The representatives highlighted Niramaya’s consistent journey in promoting yoga education across Assam and the North-East as a recognized institution of the Ministry’s Yoga Board.

On behalf of Niramaya, the Secretary, Vaidya Kotecha, was honored with a traditional hand made Assamese Muga Uttariya. He was also presented with the institution’s booklet, “Glimpses of Niramaya”. Additionally, Dr. Kashinath, Director of the Morarji Desai National Institute of Yoga, and Modit Sharma, Administrative Officer, were honored with traditional Assamese Gamuchas. Others who received similar honors included N.K. Kansara, Principal Consultant of the Yoga Board, and Sahil Kakkar and Lakshmi Yadav, two liaison officers of the East Zone, along with the Director of the All India Institute of Ayurveda. Everyone praised Niramaya’s activities and plans for promoting yoga education.

Notably, only 97 people from the field of yoga were invited as special guests to the main Independence Day event at Delhi’s Red Fort. Of these, only two were from Assam and the Northeast: They are Rahul Chakraborty, the chief coordinator of Niramaya and the Regional Director (Northeast) of Paramananda Institute of Yoga Sciences and Research, and Shatakshi Bhattacharjee, the Director of Niramaya and Zonal Head (Northeast) of the Indian Yoga Association.

Besides the Independence Day ceremony, they participated in various other programmes, including a special dinner with senior officials of the Ministry of AYUSH, a meeting with officials of the Yoga Certification Board, discussions related to yoga and Ayurveda, and visits to various historical places.
