134 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday; 96 patients discharged

Nov. 29: On Sunday, out of 11,558 tests 134 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,12,617 out of which, 3,350 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 1.16 percent.

On Sunday, 96 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,08,283 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Further, during the day, 01 more patient died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 981.
