2-day conference with Deputy Commissioners of all districts of Assam begins in Diphu

Aug. 22: The two-day conference with Deputy Commissioners of all districts of Assam at Diphu began in Diphu on Sunday. The high level conference of the 33 Deputy Commissioners was held under the Chairmanship of the Chief Minister of Assam Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma. Chief Secretary Jishnu Baruah, several Ministers, MLAs and key senior officials also took part in this conference.

Speaking about the conference CM Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said, “We discussed various issues regarding implementation of projects and preparing the development roadmap for the state. We shall have conferences with DCs & SPs separately and jointly every six months which will be held outside Guwahati. In these two days in Diphu, we shall discuss how to achieve speedy growth of the State.”
