719 tests Covid-19 +ve in Assam on Thursday, 10 deaths registered

Aug 19: On Thursday, out of 96,200 tests, 719 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive in Assam. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 5,82,750. The positivity rate in the state is 0.74 percent. Kamrup (Metro) district registered 136 positive cases during the day. Further, on Thursday, 10 more persons lost their lives in the state due to COVID-19. With this, the death toll in the state reached 5,538. The recovery rate is 97.63 percent.

It needs mention here that on Wednesday, 639 persons tested positive in Assam and 10 deaths were registered.
