Private jobs more lucrative than govt job: CM Assam
March 27: A TET qualified person on getting the job of a school teacher is less privileged than a person working in a private company like that of Reliance. Getting a job in company like Reliance is indeed a matter of pride. This was said by Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma during a programme at Srimanta Sankardev Kalakshetra Auditorium in Guwahati.
The Chief Minister further stated that the pay scale in private sector is much high than that of the government. He also added that a TET teacher at the end of his/her service may get a maximum salary of Rs 50,000, but those working in Reliance can earn more money if he/she can perform better. Dr Sarma a few days ago announced that around 16,000 TET qualified youths will be given jobs very soon.
