Precautionary measures regarding cancer discussed in Rotary Greenland meeting

February 7: Rotary Club of Green Land Silchar, D3240 organises regular weekly meetings wherein they discuss various important issues. This weekly meeting of Greenland was a memorable one with the gracious presence of Dr Ritesh Tapkire, renowned doctor from Cachar Cancer Hospital and Research Center, as the Guest Speaker.

Dr Tapkire nicely elaborated about various precautionary measures regarding cancer. He enlightened about the several cancer awareness campaign carried out by Cachar Cancer Hospital in various areas. The thrust area of his deliberation was ‘Prevention is better than cure.’

Rotary Greenland also felicitated Dr Tapkire on the auspicious occasion. Debabrata Dutta, Administrative Officer from Cachar Cancer Hospital was also present in this program. Club President Madhumita Paul and other members took part in this special weekly meeting.
