Police recovers 102 kg of Ganja hidden inside tyres & other parts of a vehicle in Karimganj, 2 arrested

April 16: Assam Police is continuing its war against narcotics in various parts of the state. On Saturday, a team of Karimganj Police led by an IPS Probationer detained a TATA Safari in Karimganj. On searching the vehicle, the cops recovered 102 kg of Ganja which were hidden inside the tyres and other parts of the vehicle. Two persons were also apprehended by the police in this connection.

Taking to its twitter handle, Karimganj Police wrote, “The drug traffickers might think they are smart, but we are a step ahead. Last night, a team led by IPS Probationer detained a TATA Safari and recovered 102 kgs of ganja hidden in the body and tyres. 2 persons have been arrested.”
