97 tests +ve in Assam on Sunday; 84 patients discharged
Active cases 3,552 in Assam
Dec. 6: On Sunday, out of 11,514 tests 97 persons were detected as COVID-19 positive. With this, the state tally of coronavirus has now gone upto 2,13,759 out of which, 3,552 are active cases. The positivity rate in the state is 0.84 percent.
On Sunday, 84 patients were discharged in Assam. With this, a total of 2,09,211 patients got cured and were subsequently discharged from various hospitals and Covid Care centres across the state. This was confirmed in a tweet by State Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.
Further, during the day, 04 more patients died in Assam due to COVID-19. The death tally in the state now stands at 993.
