Police apprehended a peddler in Dholai with 126 grms brown sugar

way2barak, Feb 26:  A joint operation with Assam rifles was conducted at Jaydhonpur area under Dholai PS yesterday. During the operation police team apprehended a man with10 nos. saop cases containing suspected to be brown sugar. Later recovered articles were weighted and found 126 grams without soap cases.Thereafter, observing all formalities the NDPS items have been seized and arrested the accused person, namely Baharul Islam (21yrs), resident of  Joydhanpur, PS-Dholai.

SP Cachar Numal Mahatta says,  further legal action is being initiated .
