Pending TDC CBCS Odd Sem theory & practical exams cancelled by Assam University

Summer vacation rescheduled, Online classes for even sem from 1 July

June 4: In pursuance of the resolution of 13th meeting of the Standing Committee of Academic Council of Assam University held on 4 June 2021, it was decided that the pending TDC CBCS Odd semester examinations were cancelled due to the surge in Covid-19 positive cases.

The following decisions were taken in the Standing Committee meeting:

1. In partial modification of the Notification No. 113/7/94-Pers (Part/5029-229) dated 22nd December 2020, the summer vacation for all the affiliated TDC Colleges of Assam University is hereby preponed from 5th June to 30 June 2021, keeping in mind the greater interest of the students.

2. The remaining theory examinations of TDC odd semester examinations 2021 (CBCS Course) suspended after 27th April 2021 due to spurt in COVID 19 cases stands cancelled. A Committee has been constituted to formulate guidelines and modalities for award of marks for the cancelled theory papers. Details shall be notified shortly after fmalization of the same.

3. Remaining practical examinations of TDC odd semester examinations 2021 (CBCS Course) suspended due to spurt in COVID 19 cases shall be conducted through home assignment mode. Similarly, marks for SEC and AECC papers shall also be awarded on assignment basis. Concerned colleges are expected to take necessary action accordingly to ensure submission of assignment by examinees by 30th June 2021.

4. A Committee has been constituted to work out the modalities for holding examination of students for Non-CBCS courses as and when situation permits. The same shall be notified on finalization of modalities.

5. Online classes for TDC Even Semester 2021 shall commence from 1st July 2021.
