Manipuri militant nabbed in Jirighat

way2barak, Nov 26: Based on specific information a joint operation was conducted along with 29th Assam Rifle at Lakhinagar under the jurisdiction of Jirighat Police station area, Assam Police apprehended one militant namely Henlenmang Lhouvum (26) resident of  Senapati district of Manipur and seized one .32mm Pistol along with one magazine loaded with 5(five) rounds of live ammunitions. SP Numal Mahatta informed on Sunday that legal action is  being taken against the apprehended person. Further investigation is going on.
