Normal school hours resume in Cachar as heat wave subsides

Way2barak, September 25 : In a recent directive from the office of the District Magistrate, Cachar, all government and private schools in the district will revert to their regular operating hours starting 26th September 2024. The decision comes in the wake of the subsiding heat wave that had earlier prompted a temporary revision of school timings from 7:30 AM to 12:30 PM.

With the improvement in weather conditions, schools across Cachar will now function according to their usual schedules, providing relief to both students and staff. The District Magistrate has approved the order and all schools, including those under the State Government, Central Government, and private institutions are advised to adhere to this revised directive.

The education authorities have expressed gratitude for the cooperation of school heads and teachers during the period of altered school hours and urge them to continue their vigilance in ensuring a smooth transition back to regular timings.
